THE THUNDER NEWS EXPRESS

Hello everyone and welcome to the official Thunder Blooze Express Newsletter.  The newsletter was designed to keep you informed on the latest news and information on one of the Hottest Rockin Blues Bands in the Inland Empire.  We know our website has been down for a while…. Sorry!  But were up and running again, just to keep all you Blooze lovers out there Informed.

Meanwhile a lot of stuff has been going on with the band since we’ve last reported.  The guys have been doing a lot of local gigs in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas lately, getting ready to shake Catalina AGAIN!  The Band performed once again at the 4^th Fender Catalina Blues Festival on May 12 – 14^th.  The first show as a at the Casino Ballrooms marine bar just before the Great one, Mr. Buddy Guy hit the stage.  The Band tore through a blistering 45 min set of Blues, showing the crowd that we meant business as far as playing the blues.

Up next the Band hit the stage at the Catalina Country club.  There the band played a 3-hour set of the Rockin blues that had the full capacity crowd wanting more.  The guys also had a few special guests join them on stage later on in the night, Like the wild man from Houston, TX, Guitar Shortly.  Shorty jammed on the song Red House with the guys, and had the crowd Roaring.  Then the new kid on the block (and I do mean KID!) 9 yr old Nick Stearling from Phoenix, AZ.  This kid was Hot, and proved to the crowd that Blues isn’t just for the old farts!  The band ripped it up till 1:30 A.M.  Thanks to all the friends and blues lovers that showed up that night, It was a night we will never forget.   All in all this was the best show the band has ever done.  And hopefully eared a spot at the next years Blues festival weekend….
