The Thunder Blooze
Express is a Rockin Blues band from the Inland Empire. Our musical
influences and Expressions of our instruments provide a Thunderous yet
Soulful sound to the Blues. |
 |
 |
The band was
formed in 1997 by Dominic (Nik) Boutte'. The band was formed as a three
piece, Nik on bass, and lead vocals, Jessie Quijano on guitar and vocals and
Lawrence Sauceda A.K.A. Jump on Drums. Their self produced C.D. '
Smokem Um ' was released the same year. |
|
After a few shows, the band added a second guitarist to their line up named
John Cruz. 1997 through 1999 the band Performed numerous shows in and
around the Inland Empire and Orange Co. Jessie has since left the band
due to health reasons and creative difference, however don't be surprised if
he shows up to do a show with us from time to time! |

|
The band worked steadily through
1999 as a trio. Playing mostly outdoor venues. The band has also
performed 2 years in a row at the Fender Catalina Blues Festival. The
band added more of a High Octane sizzle to the traditional blues, and were
well received both years. |
|
John Cruz then left the
Thunder Blooze
Express, after a blistering Three Year's of
Service, to complete
some other projects,
but he is now back in
the main line up...

At
the present, the band is having various guitar players sit in with us at our
shows, one in particular is George Martinez!!! |
| In
the future we plan to return to next years festival in May 2003, with
explosive sound and hunger to perform, the Thunder Blooze Express is a band
to watch out for in the new millennium. |
